Osteophyte

A junction in the body where bones are linked together.

One of the small, shock-absorbing cushions found between the bones that make up the spinal column (vertebrae).

Mild thinning and weakening of the bones; bone density is lower than normal but not low enough to be classified as osteoporosis.
