Myocarditis

A bodily response in which white blood cells and other immune cell protect your body from disease or injury.

The middle layer of heart tissue. The muscular myocardium is sandwiched between the outer layer (epicardium) and the inner layer (endocardium).

Tearing of one of the walls of the heart. It usually occurs immediately after a heart attack.
