Hyperplastic polyp

The part of the large intestine which stores solid waste until it leaves the body through the anus.

The large intestine; a muscular tube that is 5 to 6 feet long. It compacts and moves solid waste.

Increased production of cells in a normal tissue or organ; may be harmless or a sign of precancerous changes.
