Delta waves

Stage of sleep where the brain is less responsive to outside stimuli.

A lack of concentration or alertness as well as a sense of lethargy and loss of motivation; involves the central nervous system.

Birth of a baby and its afterbirth (see placenta). A baby may be delivered through the vagina or by cesarean section.
