Carcinoma

A layer of cells which lines organs and structures in the body, protecting or enclosing them.

A group of cells that are specialized to do a certain job and are joined together to form a body structure, such as muscle or kidney.

Any type of swelling or enlargement of tissues; most often used to describe an abnormal growth of tissue, which can be cancerous or noncancerous.

The most common skin cancer. Basal cell carcinoma doesn’t spread to internal organs.
