Anus

The part of the large intestine which stores solid waste until it leaves the body through the anus.

The muscle around the anus that is squeezed to prevent passing wind or opening the bowels involuntarily.

Abnormal functioning of the anus and rectum, causing constipation or the inability to control bowel movements.

The series of hollow organs, including the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), rectum, and anus, which break down and digest food and expel waste.
